CLP wins Malaysian tender for Bore Inspection Systems
CLP System AB will supply the Malaysian Army with laser based measurement and inspection systems BEMIS.
The systems are developed by Laser Techniques Company in Seatlle and are in use in many armies around the globe. The systems allow the user to inspect the inside of the barrel, and detect and analyze bore erosion, cracks etc. BEMIS systems are available for various calibers from 5,56mm up to 155mm. In Sweden, the army uses a 155mm BEMIS system for inspection and analysis of the gun mounted on their howitzer Archer.
