CLP System AB Secures German Contract for Coast Guard Fleet
CLP System AB has successfully won a new public procurement in Germany, reinforcing its position as a trusted supplier of advanced weapon maintenance solutions. The contract confirms continued confidence in the company’s capabilities, as CLP will deliver its VPBB weapon cleaning system to the German Coast Guard’s Potsdam-class vessels.
The Potsdam-class ships, which form a key part of Germany’s maritime security operations, are equipped with Bofors 57 mm naval guns. These vessels have already been using CLP’s technology for several years, including both the BEMIS measurement system and the VPBB cleaning system. The newly awarded contract ensures that CLP will continue supporting the fleet with its proven maintenance solutions.
The VPBB system is designed to provide efficient, reliable, and safe cleaning of naval weapon systems, contributing to improved operational readiness and extended equipment lifespan. Combined with the BEMIS system, which enables precise measurement and monitoring, CLP offers an integrated approach to weapon maintenance that has been well received by naval operators.
“We are proud to have earned renewed trust from the German Coast Guard,” Managing Director Nikolai Grull stated. “This contract highlights the reliability of our systems and our long-term commitment to supporting our customers with high-performance solutions.”
The agreement not only strengthens CLP System AB’s presence in the German market but also underscores the importance of long-term partnerships in the defense and maritime sectors. By continuing to equip Potsdam-class vessels, CLP reaffirms its role as a key partner in ensuring operational efficiency and safety at sea.
