MilDef wins cybersecurity contracts with Clavister, the latest worth SEK 40 million

Clavister, a leader in European cyber security for mission-critical applications, has on several occasions in recent months ordered MilDef’s hardware for customized and ruggedized network equipment intended for installation in BAE System Hägglund’s CV90 combat vehicle. In December, hardware worth SEK 30 million was ordered and now an order worth SEK 40 million is signed. The hardware is a sub-component of two products in Clavister CyberArmour, a product family of AI-based, military-adapted next-generation firewalls for defense applications. First serial delivery in early 2027.
Clavister is a specialized European cybersecurity provider protecting complex digital businesses. In the current projects, MilDef has customized hardware according to the customer’s needs. MilDef’s deliveries are part of Clavister’s supply to the CV90 platform.
“The intersection of our ruggedized hardware and Clavister’s leading software creates the best possible conditions for the next level of cybersecurity. We are proud to contribute together to the modernization of European defense”, says Daniel Ljunggren, CEO and President MilDef.
“Clavister and MilDef build on a long and strong relationship where cyber software meets robust hardware. In times of increased digitization of the armed forces, there is a clear need for significantly increased cyber security. For us, MilDef is the perfect partner in the work of equipping the defense capability of the future”, says John Vestberg, CEO Clavister.
