Aimpoint® is a Swedish technology company with global reach. In 1975, we invented the red dot sight, and since then we have led the development of optical systems that combine rapid target acquisition with exceptional reliability – qualities that are critical in both civilian and professional applications. Today, our sights are used by military and law enforcement agencies around the world.

We are deeply rooted in Sweden’s hunting culture – it is part of our DNA. Our products have always been developed in close collaboration with users – from hunters in the field to operators in combat. The professional segment is now our primary market, and it is where we make the greatest difference.

Within the military domain, this encompasses both sights designed for individual soldiers’ weapons and advanced solutions such as the FCS™ (Fire Control System). This is a fire control system for crew-served weapons, combining a red dot sight with a laser rangefinder and ballistic calculator, enabling fast and accurate hits on both stationary and moving targets – even at extended ranges.

Aimpoint is a key contributor to Sweden’s total defence capability. We develop and manufacture robust red dot sights for armed forces and security organizations. All research, development, and production are carried out in Sweden, ensuring a high level of innovation, technological control, and quality throughout the entire process. We build long-term relationships with our users, many of whom become brand ambassadors over time – the result of a clear focus on usability, support, and trust.

We export the majority of our production and actively work to promote Swedish technology and innovation in the international defence market. At the same time, we are deeply involved in the Swedish defence industrial ecosystem and fully support SOFF’s goals of enhancing competitiveness, collaboration, and understanding of the industry’s role in total defence.
