Stream Analyze develops software for edge AI, meaning AI and data analytics that run directly in machines, vehicles and sensors rather than in a central data centre. The platform lets organisations deploy and update AI models across large fleets of devices, and the analytics keep running even with limited or no connectivity.

The software has a very small footprint and runs on a broad range of hardware, from small microcontrollers to servers. Analytics can be updated on devices in the field without a firmware update.

Data is analysed in real time where it is created. This enables fast decisions close to the source, reduces the amount of data that needs to be transmitted and allows sensitive information to stay on site.

The platform is built on a core developed in house and does not depend on third party services. It is installed in the customer’s own environment and can run fully disconnected. Customers keep full control of their data, and no data leaves the device unless explicitly requested.
The technology is based on many years of research at Uppsala University, and the company is headquartered in Uppsala, Sweden.

In security and defence, we see applications in both manufacturing and the field, such as equipment condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and analysis of sensor data in systems that must operate without connectivity.
