Peltor™ was founded 1950, specialized in the fields of Communications, hearing protection, head and face. Peltor™ (since 2008) has become a subsidiary of 3M (was founded in 1902).

For military applications 3M|Peltor focus on passive and active hearing protection (Peltor ComTac™), safety eyewear and other PPE which is used by military forces worldwide. Since the launch of ComTac™ in1998 more than a million units are now in use in various configurations. EAR Classic™ has been in use for military over 40 years worldwide.

We also have a respiratory protection range of CBRN and SCBA solutions provided by Scott Safety who are also part of the 3M family.
