Micropol Fiberoptic AB
Micropol is a manufacturer and innovator of passive fiber optics. Since the beginning of 1990, have we developed products in passive fiber optics for the Swedish Armed Forces. We are known for our short leadtimes, high quality and customized application. Regardless of the application, we have the knowledge and the capacity to manufacture the product needed – either according to the customer’s specification or as a specially tailored solution. All our products are manufactured in our own facilities in Åled outside Halmstad. We are one of Sweden’s oldest and most experienced companies within the field of passive fiber optics. Our first-class production facility includes clean room production, warehouse facilities and engineering capabilities. We have a staff of 24 employees, of whom 16 are in production. Annual turnover is 60 million.
Our customers are found in a large variety of markets where advanced fiber optic solutions are crucial. Our products are used in a whole range of technologies, from and military applications and complex fiber optic networks for telecom and data communication, to advanced systems for industrial (e.g. mining, forest and offshore) and medical sensors.
