SOFF has been pursuing an extensive tranformation process for some time. As a result, the association is more focused as it sets priorities, it has a more structured approach to its work and it devotes more energy to promotional efforts in Sweden. One central element of this tranformation process has been that the association has additionally intensified the dialogue that it holds with the government and other actors about future challenges and opportunities.
The industry must be able to articulate its most important points of view for future years, if it is to be perceived as a constructive dialogue partner. In order to achieve this objective, SOFF intends to develop several policy memos that clearly set forth the positions and preferences on important policy areas that the SOFF has developed in recent years.
Our goal is to achieve an association that is proactive and constructive in every respect. Meetings between SOFF and various partners with whom it holds discussions shall take the form of a dialogue that is valued by all the participants. SOFF’s member companies can then expect to see a greater impact from the association’s work in every respect.
Our Strategy and Business Plan for sets our agenda and priorities – with an aim to achieve an open and competitive defence market that deliveres the best conditions for both producers and customers.
The most important issue for SOFF are the equivalent conditions for companies in Sweden to export and to cooperate on the international market.
